Seems like if you get there as soon as the buffet opens the food would be nice and hot. Who wants to eat a cold bowl of soup? Menu choices are the same every day. Either the chefs are not caring how they cook the meals to be served or they cannot think of another menu choice and do the same thing every day.
The Buffet was always my favorite place to eat. 8) The parking garage is a maze and the drivers there are terrible. 7) Takes a very long time to accumulate points. 5) Rude, ignorant staff members who can't answer simple questions. It is depressing! Not a classy environment 4) No free alcohol. 3) the people there are all locals (ie: thungs) or scary chain smokers wasting their disability checks. The payouts are low generally, even on dollar machines, and it is rare to see a single machine go off for a jackpot. I fed hundreds into a nickle machine only to get zero bonus rounds. The signs do guide you the 'industrial' route, which bypasses Chester proper. but at least he guided me to the freeway. I got lost trying to find the freeway and was pulled over by a cop who warned me that homicides were 'very high'. No fast food, no gas stations, few street lights, cops everywhere and cars that tailgate with thumping bass.
I will not return: 1) Chester is a dangerous dump.
